Execudrive Terms & Disclaimers

 
1. Quoted Prices and Vehicle Categories

The terms and conditions described herein apply for ALL prices quoted by EXECUDRIVE PTY LTD and its agents/subcontractors.

All quoted prices apply only to Australian sedans. European sedan prices are available upon request.

Please note: All Melbourne Airport International Terminal pick-ups incur an extra $15 including GST.

The terms and conditions of service apply to all vehicle categories.

2. Payment Methods / Processing Fees / Refunds

For all non-corporate account clients, payment may be made at any time before or during a transfer. Payment must be made at the end of a transfer, at the latest, before the client/passenger leaves the vehicle. Payment can be made by cash, most major credit cards or EFTPOS. Cheques are not accepted.

For all prepaid fares arranged to be settled by EFT or credit card, the total amount must be received into Execudrive account at least 48 hours AEST before the commencement of the first transfer. An invoice will be sent via our online payment system with instructions for payment. A processing fee of 2% of the final fare including GST will be added to the total payable.

Refunds are generally made using the same method as the original payment. This may be waived in some circumstances and a different method from that used by the customer may be utilized by Execudrive to refund the money paid. Please note that our online payment system may deduct a fee from a refund that Execudrive makes to a customer. Execudrive is not responsible to reimburse the customer for this fee.

For all payments utilizing an electronic terminal in a vehicle, a processing fee of 2% of the final fare including GST will be added and charged by the provider of the electronic payment system. This will appear on the Tax Invoice printed by the terminal as well as the account statement which the client will receive from their financial institution.

3. Direct Transfers

A direct transfer is a transfer from one defined pickup point to one defined destination travelling in one direction. All prices quoted for direct transfers include motorway tolls, parking charges and are supplied inclusive of GST. Any extra time, extra tolls and parking charges incurred as a result of deviations from the direct route will be added to the original quoted price.

4. Hourly Transfers

An hourly transfer is a transfer that begins at the booking time and ends when the vehicle is no longer required. Multiple pickups and drop-off points may be included. All prices quoted for hourly hire are inclusive of GST and the total price will be calculated by multiplying the number of hours by the hourly rate. All extra motorway tolls, parking charges, and any other surcharges will be added to the total price. A minimum of two hours will be charged in all cases.

5. Late/Early Surcharge

All direct transfers which begin and/or end between 11.00 pm and 6.00 am will incur a 30% surcharge for the total fare. All hourly transfers which begin and/or end between 11.00 pm and 6.00 am will incur a 30% surcharge with respect to the portion of the trip which falls between these times. The time the vehicle leaves Execudrive’s base (located at 31 Queen St Melbourne VIC 3000) is taken into account when determining whether the 30% surcharge applies. If the vehicle has to leave the base between 11.00 pm and 6.00 am, the surcharge will apply irrespective of the pickup time.

6. Additional Charges

Any out-of-pocket expenses and/or any other surcharges not included in the estimate may also apply to the final price.

7. Policies regarding Booking Changes, Cancellations and Client No Show

A change fee or late cancellation fee, equivalent to the full fare, will apply for all bookings changed or cancelled within four (4) hours of the scheduled pick up time. A fee of $70.00 AU will be charged for all transfer reservations changed or cancelled between 24 and 4 hours prior to the scheduled pick up time($100.00 for European sedans).

A no show fee equal to the hourly minimum* or transfer rate as applicable for the confirmed vehicle plus any airport tolls, fuel surcharge, motorway tolls, parking and other charges will be charged if the passenger does not arrive, as scheduled, at the agreed designated customer or chauffeur meeting location for all reservations.

To avoid a late cancellation or no show fee, the reservation must be cancelled in accordance with the cancellation policy noted in your confirmation or itinerary. If you experience difficulty locating the chauffeur, please call the Service Provider telephone number listed on the email confirmation. Leaving the pick-up location without notifying Execudrive will result in a no-show charge.

Execudrive may wavier the cancellation fee in the event of circumstances beyond the control of the passenger.

**Special Event / Wedding booking Change and/or Cancellation Policies may supersede Execudrive’s standard Change and Cancellation Policies and are noted on confirmations.

*Hourly minimum rate is $88 including GST for Australian prestige vehicles, $121 including GST for European vehicles.

8. **Special Event / Wedding Policies regarding Booking Changes, Cancellations and Client No Show

A change fee or late cancellation fee, equivalent to the full fare, will apply for all bookings changed or cancelled within one week of the scheduled pick up time.

A change fee or late cancellation fee, equivalent to 50% of the full fare, will apply for all bookings changed or cancelled within two weeks of the scheduled pick up time.

A no show fee equal to the hourly minimum* or transfer rate as applicable for the confirmed vehicle plus any airport tolls, fuel surcharge, motorway tolls, parking and other charges will be charged if the passenger does not arrive, as scheduled, at the agreed designated customer or chauffeur meeting location for all reservations.

To avoid a late cancellation or no show fee, the reservation must be cancelled in accordance with the cancellation policy noted in your confirmation or itinerary. 9. Waiting Time – Airport Transfers

Please note: All Melbourne Airport International Terminal pick-ups incur an extra $15 including GST.

All airport transfers allow for a reasonable wait time due to flight and baggage delays. For international airport pickups the default pickup time is 30 minutes after the flight lands. Please advise us if you require the chauffeur to be at pickup point at international terminal earlier than this. If no contact has been made one hour after landing time the chauffeur will attempt to make contact with the client. If no contact can be made, the no-show policy will apply as stated above.

For domestic airport pickups the pickup time will be 5 minutes after landing time at the defined chauffeur meeting point as displayed. If no contact has been made 25 minutes after landing the chauffeur will attempt to make contact with the client. If no contact can be made, the no-show policy will apply as stated above.

If the customer requests additional wait time at either the pickup or destination location, it will be added to the transfer rate, which will be the hourly rate of the vehicle charged at fifteen (15) minute intervals.

10. Waiting Time – Non-Airport Transfers

Customers are permitted 15 minutes of waiting time after the scheduled pickup time. Wait time beyond the 15 minutes will incur the transfer fee plus the hourly rate charged in fifteen (15) minute intervals. The chauffeur will attempt to make contact with the client 15 minutes after pickup time. If no contact has been made 45 minutes after pickup time, the no-show policy will apply as stated above.

11. Rate Estimate

Rates prior to service are only an initial estimate of the cost of services reserved. Waiting time where/if applicable and/or any additional services may change the final price.

12. Child Safety Seats

For safety reasons governing child safety in motor vehicles the customer must provide an estimated weight and age of children less than (7) years. Execudrive can provide weight appropriate equipment, baby capsules, child safety or booster seats for a nominal fee to cover the cost, pickup and return of the equipment to the nearest storage location. However, customers may provide and install their own baby capsule, child safety or booster seats if they wish.

Execudrive and it’s chauffeurs will under no circumstances agree to transport infants without proper equipment.

A cancellation fee will apply if execudrive is not informed, within a reasonable time before the booking, of any child restraint requirements, which results in the transfer being cancelled.

13. Lost or Misplaced Items

Please note that Execudrive assumes no liability for any lost or misplaced personal property or any other items left in any vehicle. Lost property is stored at the local branch office, every attempt to locate and contact the owner is undertaken, but the onus for collection remains with the client.

These terms and conditions may be in addition to, or form part of terms and conditions relating to other product, goods and/or services. Execudrive reserves the right to amend any and all terms and conditions without notice.
